Review: SimySkin Gel Cleanser

SimySkin Gel Cleanser

The one thing that I consistently do in my beauty routine is wash my face at night. Even in my 20’s during those wild nights of clubbing and endless tequila shots, I still stumbled to the bathroom to wash off the night’s festivities.

I think I may have read or heard someone say that not washing your face at night makes you age faster. Somehow that idea has seeped into my subconscious and has made me vigilant in maintaining a fresh face before sleep.

Finding a good facial cleanser that doesn’t dry out my face is one of my skin care priorities. I’ve been trying out SimySkin’s Gel Cleanser, which is a unisex gel cleanser gentle enough to be used by any type of skin.

This gel cleanser reminds me of hair gel in its texture and color. It has a light citrus-like scent, feels nice on the skin, and washes off easily.

What I like is that it doesn’t contain any parabens, mineral oil, synthetic colors , synthetic fragrances, soap, or sulfate. It also contains 10 natural essential oils, antioxidants, B12 and other vitamins.

SimySkin’s signature ingredient is Vitamin B12, which keeps your nerves and red blood cells healthy, and is essential for healthy skin, hair and nails. Vitamin B12 plays a major part in cell reproduction, plus it helps with redness, dryness, inflammation and acne blemishes.

SimySkin’s Gel Cleanser comes in a 4 oz. bottle and costs $35 on the SimySkin site. I believe the price is fair given the quality of the product. I’ve been using it for over a month and have used about a third of the bottle. It only takes a few pumps to fully cleanse my face. Best of all, it helps keep my skin soft and moisturized.

What’s the one part of your skin care routine that is a must-do every day? Is there a product you can’t do without?
