I always make time for self care during the weekend. That means meditating first thing when I get up in the morning, a cup of coffee (of course!), doing my nails, and giving myself a facial.
I’ve been using the Veria ID Soak It Up Highly Hydrating Mask that I reviewed awhile back, but I’ve been wanting to try something new. I saw the display of Yes To masks at the store that were calling my name, “Maria! Maria! Try us!” Since I’m a fan of the brand and familiar with their products, I thought I’d try out the Miracle Oil Brighten and Condition Argan Oil Mud Mask. Besides, I’m a sucker for pretty packaging.
Yes To currently offers this mask in a single use, but I hope they come out with a full size bottle soon because I love it. The mud mask is available in PrimRose Oil and Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal. There are paper masks for hydrating, calming, acne fighting, and detoxifying as well.
Many face masks start to dry up after applying it on your face, but this mud mask is rich and creamy out of the package and stays that way until you wash it off. There was plenty enough to cover my face, and I even had some left over so I put it on my neck. I left the mask on my face for about 10-15 minutes, then washed it off with a face towel.
I’ve read a few reviews about this product, and some people have complained that it is messy. Actually, all the masks I’ve used similar to this one have always been a little messy. It’s a mud mask, what do you expect? I guess if you were dispensing it out of a tube, it wouldn’t be so sloppy.
All in all, I really like the Yes To Argan Oil Mud Mask and how soft my skin feels after just one use. I can see myself using it often in combination with my coconut oil/tea tree oil moisturizer concoction.
Yes To Miracle Oil Brighten and Condition Argan Oil Mud Mask is available at Ulta, Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
