Clarisonic Mia Fit: The Perfect Travel Companion

Clarisonic Mia FIT and NYX Makeup

Whenever I travel I really try to avoid checking in a bag, so I have to make everything fit into a carry-on bag. This is much harder during the fall or winter than summertime because I usually want to take a pair of boots and a heavy jacket.

During a recent trip to Canada I was able to pare down my beauty and skin care “essentials” so that they would all fit into a clear ziplock bag. I was even able to take the Clarisonic Mia Fit that I had received to try out.

The Clarisonic Mia Fit is lightweight – and just like all Clarisonic products – promises to cleanse away all makeup and impurities from your face. The Mia Fit comes with two brush heads and has two speed settings: delicate and power cleanse. It is also waterproof and fits snugly into my hand. I especially love how it feels on my face – like I’m getting a facial massage.

When I reviewed the Spa Sonic awhile back, I had mentioned that the two speeds of the Clarisonic didn’t really matter, but now that I’ve tried out the Mia Fit, I think I actually like having options.

The only thing I don’t like about the Mia Fit is that it vibrates in your hand as you’re using it. It’s not annoying enough to be a deal breaker, though. All I’m really concerned with is that it cleans my face very well.

It’s important to replace the brush heads on the Clarisonic on a regular basis because germs and bacteria can accumulate. I use and recommend these compatible brush heads from Procizion that work just as well as the original brush heads.

Clarisonic was a sponsor of the NYX Face Awards, so in my sample box from Clarisonic I also received the NYX Ombre Blush in “Sweet Spring” and Finishing Powder. I thought the blush would be too pink for me, but it actually looks pretty if I do say so myself!

QVC is currently offering the Mia Fit on sale for $159.80, which includes the Sonic Radiance Skin Illuminating Cleanser. This is a pretty good deal considering most retailers are offering it at $189 or more.
