There are many beauty myths that have been circulating on the Internet, and I have to admit that I’ve been a sucker for many of them. In an article over at LuckyShops, Gray Chapman offers 8 beauty rituals that we should stop doing now.
One of the beauty rituals that I stopped doing in high school was washing my face twice a day, which is something I learned from a friend.
She said, “Why should I wash my face in the morning if all I’m doing is sleeping on a pillow?”
She’s right. Especially now that I’m older and my face gets dry very quickly, I’m very careful about stripping those precious oils off my face. I only wash my face at night before bed, and in the morning I’ll splash my face with water then apply moisturizer.
