Valentine’s Day Dinner Outfit Ideas: Simple, Yet Stylish

Valentine’s Day snuck up pretty fast, and if you’re like me, you usually wait until the last minute to put together a cute outfit for that dinner date with your special someone.

As many of you know, I’m all about being practical and buying pieces that I can wear all the time. I love this first outfit I put together because it’s simple, yet girly. The Michael Kors stud earrings add a touch of red to the monochromatic look. You can also wear this dress in the spring or summer with flat sandals.

This next outfit is more simple and casual, yet very chic and sexy. The strappy heels and red patent clutch add some interest and take the look from *yawn* to “Oh, la la!” As I always say, the right accessories can take you from drab to fab!

What’s nice about living in San Diego is that there are so many different types of restaurants, and I can make a reservation for Valnetine’s Day dinner using OpenTable.  I like to think of San Diego as a romantic city because you could go walk along the beach after dinner or stroll through the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown and find a cute, cozy place to have dessert. One of my favorite places for dessert is Chocolat Cremerie for their gelato or Extraordinary Desserts for coffee and pastries. Mmmmm!
