I don’t do yoga as often as I used to, but after seeing this video about the 96-year-old woman who holds the world record for being the oldest yoga teacher, I’m feeling very inspired to do more of it – or at least get more exercise.
Tao Porchon Lynch attributes her health and energy to staying active and maintaining a positive attitude. She founded the Westchester Institute of Yoga, and has been teaching yoga for more than 45 years. The way she can bend and stretch her body is jaw-dropping. I can even barely touch my toes when I’m stretching my legs!
If there’s anything we can learn from Tao, it’s that age really and truly is nothing but a number.
