The holidays are for enjoying festive times with family and friends, not for fretting over the idea of having to buy pricey gifts. If you’re on a budget this year, here are a few gift suggestions that won’t break the bank…
Stila Masterpiece Eye Series ($39 at Sephora.com) – This is the perfect gift for the artsy friend with pretty packaging that looks like a retro book trilogy. Each contains five eye shadows and one powder cheek color. The fourth “book” includes get-the-look tutorials, and tips and tricks from Stila Pro Artist Sarah Lucero. The book I’ve used the most so far is The Impressionist because I love the color of the blush and the different shades of purple.
Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour ($44 at Fragrancenet.com) – I’m a believer that the best things come in small packages, and what girl wouldn’t love lipstick from an iconic brand? I have the “Exaltee” Intense Fuschia for those days when I want a bold look, but don’t want to wear a red lipstick. Even after some of the lipstick has worn off, I get a natural color to my lips, in addition to keeping them super supple.
Bokos Sandals ($18 at Bokosusa.com) – If you live in warm weather climate like I do, a pair of comfortable sandals always comes in handy. Wherever you live, though, you can still wear them around the house or after working out. I’ve written about my pink Bokos sandals before, and now the company has come out with new colors including lavender and green apple.
Trapp Holiday Candles ($25 at TrappCandles.com) – The person who has everything will always appreciate a new candle in their favorite holiday fragrance. I don’t have any of these, so I’m adding the Snowberry and Lemon Sugar Cookie scents to my own holiday gift list! *Hint, hint*
“Industrical Chic” Beaded Dangle Earrings ($16 from my Etsy shop) – Yes, these are one-of-a-kind earrings that are made by yours truly. Who knew that earrings made of washers and mixed metals would be such a big hit this fall season? My friends bought most of the pieces before I even had a chance to put them up online.
Surya Brasil’s Amazonia Preciosa Gift Set ($38 at SuryaBrasilProducts.com) – For the eco-conscious beauty, this set contains travel-friendly vegan products including a Cupuaçu sulfate-free shampoo and a separate conditioner; an exfoliating shower gel made with passion fruit, buriti oil, and delicate açai grains; a hand and body lotion made with macadamia.
Just So You Bow Gloves ($34.99 from ModCloth) – Totally girly and adorable, these gloves have ruffled wrists, stitched trim, and a little bow on the ring finger.
Street Chic iPhone 5/5S Cover ($38 at Henri Bendel) – Our smart phones have become a fashion staple and so many creative and colorful iPhone covers have come out. This one in particular speaks to the artsy, fashionista side of me.
