One thing you may not know about me is that I am a tomboy at heart. I’ve always been involved in sports, especially basketball, and I’ve tried just about every sport out there except for golf. Well, I have played mini-golf before, but that doesn’t really count. For awhile now I’ve been wanting to get on the golf course, even if it’s just to the driving range. By summer’s end, I vow to do it.
But first, I have to look the part, right? I figured if I get out there and realize that I don’t have the God-given talent to play golf, at least I’ll look stylish doing it. Besides, my style is very classic, so I could always wear these pieces as everyday outfits (see above). Polo shirts, v-neck sweaters, and basic trousers or skirts appeal to my conservative, preppy side. It’s been awhile since I’ve owned a pair of white pants or a white skirt, but given that golf doesn’t require me to move around too much, I think I might give them a try. I recommend checking out the spring golf clothing for the new season from Direct Golf.
I watched Tiger Woods this past week, so of course I have to throw in a maroon-colored polo for good luck…
What I love about polo shirts is that you could wear them with just about anything. You could throw a blazer over a polo shirt with a pair of wide-leg jeans, platforms, and a stylish hat. You could also wear a polo shirt with a long A-line skirt and sandals – or boots during the fall season.
