Katy Perry continues to wow us with her musical talents and stylish looks. It seems like every time I turn around, Katy Perry has a completely different look. In her ad campaign with hair styling brand, ghd, Katy channels Old Hollywood glitz and glamour aided by renowned photographer David LaChapelle who shows us her fierce side.
Art deco is a style that brings to mind class, opulence, luxury, and sophistication. These words could be used to describe the limited edition Scarlet Collection by ghd, which could make a great Valentine’s gift for you or someone you know who could use quality hair styling tools. If you’ve been reading this blog for some time, you know how much I recommend using quality hair tools. This is one area of your beauty arsenal that you shouldn’t skimp on.
The ghd “Scarlet Collection” includes a heat resistant red satin styler roll bag, red plated flat iron, a protective plate guard, and 2 sectioning clips.
The ghd “Scarlet Collection Deluxe” includes a red art deco vanity case, a ghd Gold Classic styler with red plates and accents, protective plate guard, ghd travel hair dryer, two sectioning clips, and a heat resistant clutch purse.
ghd straighteners have received numerous beauty and style awards, including being named the “ultimate styling gadget” in the 2011 Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards. I still have yet to test out ghd’s products, but judging from the different reviews I’ve read so far, ghd has top-notch hair straighteners.
So, going back to Katy Perry….I admire her for the fun, quirky songs and her unique fashion sense. My favorite song by Katy is “Firework” which is uplifting and empowering. I love this part of the song:
“You don’t have to feel like a waste of space
You’re original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane, comes a rainbow…
What do you think about Katy Perry’s style and fashion sense? Does her inner beauty shine through?
