How often do you really connect with a skincare or beauty brand? When I was at Cosmoprof Las Vegas last month, there were very few companies that stood out to me and Kelly Teegarden Organics was one of them. Everything from the company’s booth display to the packaging of the products and Kelly’s story truly resonated with me. Plus, I love purple and butterflies, so how could I not love this brand?
If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, you know that I’m all for using natural and organic beauty products. We know that many products nowadays have contributed to skin cancer, and if you have been diagnosed with cancer, you’re more conscious about what you put on your skin and in your body. Kelly Teegarden took it a step further by creating her very own line of products with cancer patients in mind.
I had the opportunity to try out the “The Royal” body lotion as well as “The Secret” facial cleanser. I love how the lotion makes your skin feel oh, so soft, and gives it a sun-kissed, healthy glow. It is made up of a proprietary blend of royal jelly, organic shea butter, organic essential oils, beta glucans, Vitamin D3 and multi-fruit extracts. When I put it on, I can’t stop touching my skin and looking at myself in the mirror! Yeah, I just realized that sounds a little perverse and narcissistic, but something about this lotion makes you admire yourself. If a lotion can boost your self-esteem and confidence, why not?
I’ve used many facial cleansers in my 30+ years, and KTO’s “The Secret” cleanser is probably my favorite. So aptly named because I’m trying to figure out why I like it so much, besides the fact that it eliminates the need for eye makeup remover. Just wash your face and your done! Even mascara washes off easily with this cleanser.
