I’ve reached a point now where I’m able to stop the inner critic before it spirals out of control. I’ve become more aware of those thoughts and I’m able to just stop, take a deep breath, and start focusing on the positive. But I still do have those negative thoughts from time to time.
It is easier said than done, though. When you’ve had those negative thoughts playing like a broken record in your mind for years and years, it’s going to take a little time to change.
