As I’ve mentioned before, organic beauty products have gained precedence in the beauty industry, making their way into the bathroom cabinets of women all around the world.
Although I have yet to go completely organic with my beauty routine, the majority of the skin care products I do use are organic.
Lately I’ve been receiving compliments on my skin, so it could be a combination of using organic products, getting an occasional facial, or just learning how to slow down and not stress out so much. In fact, I have an appointment for a massage tomorrow that I’m really looking forward to! All of these things do affect how you look and feel about yourself.
The more research I do about beauty product ingredients, the more I’m realizing that organic products would be the best for me. The less toxins I have in my body, the better – especially now that I’m trying to get pregnant. I never used to like complicated skin care regimens that required me to go through more than two steps (wash and go used to be my routine), but as I get older I’m beginning to have more patience. Besides, I don’t have to rush out of the house to get to work or school like I did back in my 20’s. So, if you’re reading this and you’re still in your 20’s, I highly recommend taking the time and putting in 5-10 minutes to take care of your skin.
Keep in mind that the skin products you use are absorbed by all of the cells in your body. Start paying attention to the ingredients in the products you use and start thinking about the long-term health of your skin.
